  • "Specialist" means the healthcare provider reviewing cases through AlliaMd.

  • "Content" means text, images, data, and materials on our website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using AlliaMd, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

  • All information you provide is accurate and complete

  • You will comply with all applicable laws

3. Services Description

What We Provide

AlliaMd provides:

  • Second opinion services for complex women's health conditions

  • Matching with medical specialists

  • Medical record collection and organization

  • Written second opinion reports

  • Customer support

What We Do NOT Provide

AlliaMd does NOT:

  • Provide emergency medical services

  • Establish a doctor-patient treatment relationship

  • Prescribe medications

  • Perform diagnostic tests

  • Replace your primary healthcare provider

  • Provide mental health crisis services

For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

4. Account Registration

Account Creation

To use our services, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure

  • All activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Medical Information and Authorization

HIPAA Authorization

Accuracy of Information

You agree to:

  • Disclose all relevant health information

  • Update information if it changes

  • Inform us of any medication allergies or contraindications

Failure to provide complete information may affect the quality of your second opinion.

6. Fees and Payment

Service Fees

  • Current fee: $495 per second opinion (subject to change)

  • Payment is due at time of service request

  • Fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy

Employer-Sponsored Benefits

If your employer provides AlliaMd as a benefit:

  • Your employer pays for services

  • You may have no out-of-pocket cost

  • Eligibility is determined by your employer

Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • HSA/FSA cards

Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued if:

  • We are unable to provide services

  • Services are cancelled before record review begins

Refunds are not available after the specialist has begun reviewing your case.

7. Use of Services

Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Use services for fraudulent purposes

  • Share your account with others

  • Impersonate another person

  • Upload malware or harmful code

  • Use services for emergency situations

  • Violate any applicable laws

  • Submit false or misleading information

8. Medical Disclaimers

Not a Substitute for Medical Care

AlliaMd's second opinions are:

  • Educational and informational

  • Not a replacement for in-person medical care

  • Not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition

  • One opinion among potentially many

Always consult with your healthcare provider before making medical decisions.

No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Using AlliaMd does NOT create a doctor-patient treatment relationship. Our specialists:

  • Review your case based on submitted information

  • Provide written opinions only

  • Do not prescribe medications

  • Do not provide ongoing care

Specialist Credentials

We work with board-certified specialists. However:

  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes

  • Specialists may have differing opinions

  • Second opinions are based on information provided

  • Additional testing may be recommended

No Emergency Services

If you are experiencing a medical emergency:

  • Call 911 immediately

  • Go to the nearest emergency room

  • Do NOT wait for a second opinion

9. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on AlliaMd's website is owned by AlliaMd or our licensors, including:

  • Text, graphics, logos, images

  • Software and code

  • Trademarks and service marks

  • Website design and layout

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission

  • Use our trademarks without authorization

  • Create derivative works

  • Reverse engineer our software

Your Content

You retain ownership of information you submit. By submitting information, you grant us:

  • A license to use your information to provide services

  • Permission to create de-identified data for research and quality improvement

  • Right to use anonymized testimonials (with your explicit consent)

10. Confidentiality

13. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

Termination does not entitle you to refunds for services already provided.
